Browse, search, read a label, open any product — none of it puts anything of yours on our server. The first time you save, we make you an account: a random id, no name, no email address. Nothing to log in to. A mobile number is optional — see below.

Your skin fit, baby stage or pet profile — the answers you gave, nothing else. Your bag, routine and shelf stay in this browser. Deleting a profile clears both copies.

An explicit act, not the account above. It shares only what the publish screen shows — never pregnancy or allergy data — and an edit code takes it down.

No other user can read your profile, and Cambak has no feature that reads one back to us. The honest limit: anyone with admin access to our database could open it, as at any company. We don't, and we never sell it.

By default the account is reachable from this browser only. Lose it, or clear your site data, and the profile goes with it — we can't restore what we can't tell was yours. Add a mobile number on your profile screen and we can hand your answers back on another phone. Not a login, still no password. We keep the number to match a sign-in and for nothing else — no marketing, no SMS, never used to pick products.

In the app, the camera frame is processed by an on-device text recognizer. The photo is not uploaded anywhere. On the web decoder, the ingredient text you paste is processed in the page.

Anonymous, aggregate counts: page views (Vercel Analytics), and if enabled, anonymous product analytics (PostHog, configured with no cookies, no session recording, no autocapture) plus simple counters like "a share happened". None of it carries your account id, and we answer questions about how Cambak is used from those counters rather than by reading profiles. The city you give the weather feature is a profile answer, saved with the rest; its name goes to the weather service only.

The skin you see on a category or condition screen is a generated illustration, not a photograph of a patient or a customer. None of them is a before-and-after, none carries a name, an age or a testimonial, and none is a claim about what a product will do. Product shots are the real pack.

A link to a retailer may carry an affiliate tag, and the retailer then pays us a commission. Today none of ours do: we earn nothing on any link in Cambak. Two rules hold either way — a commission never changes a verdict or a ranking, and flagged or recalled products are never monetized at all.

Sell or share your data, your number included. Ask for a password, an email or a card. Run third-party ad trackers. Accept brand money that touches what the engine says. Pretend to have checked something we couldn't read — the product says "unreadable" instead.
